Students applying for these scholarships must submit an application for approval to the Registrar’s Office by Registration Day at the beginning of each semester.
Academic Scholarship
All valedictorians or salutatorians from a Christian school may apply for this scholarship. To qualify for the scholarship based on being a valedictorian or salutatorian, there must be at least five students in the graduating class. If this scholarship is awarded, the student will receive one free semester’s tuition. This scholarship may not be combined with any other scholarship and is valid only for undergraduate students and only for the student’s first semester.
Family Scholarship
If a husband is paying as a full-time student, his wife may take one course (up to 5 credits) at no charge. She would be subject to all of the college rules and the demerit system. If a husband is paying as a full-time student, his wife may take additional courses at half of the regular cost. If she is taking 9 or more credits, she will pay 50% of the regular semester tuition. If she is taking fewer than 9 credits, the fee charged will be for any credits in addition to the tuition-free course. If she is taking 2 or more classes and the total number of credits she is taking is less than 9, the class with the greatest number of credits will be the one that is tuition-free.
Florida/Georgia Scholarship
Students who live in Florida or Georgia may apply for this scholarship. Those students eligible for this scholarship will receive a $500 reduction in tuition for the first four semesters. If the student also qualifies for the Academic Scholarship, that scholarship will be applied the first semester and the FL/GA Scholarship for three remaining semesters.
