Greg Neal, B.S., D.D.
Chancellor & President
Born into a pastor’s home, Pastor Greg Neal has lived his life in the center of God’s work. He was saved at the age of four and surrendered to preach at the age of six. He attended Bible college where he met his wife Heather and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1996.
Pastor Greg Neal has been in full-time Christian ministry since May of 1996. In the subsequent years, Pastor Neal has led Immanuel Baptist Church through amazing growth, the starting of new missions and outreach ministries, the acquiring of new campuses for the church and Christian school, and the experiencing of personal revival for the church family.
He has been instrumental in starting missions works such as Reaching Spanish Nations, a ministry in Central and South America that hosts preaching conferences and soulwinning outreach, and Operation Light, a church planting ministry on the continent of Africa. He has helped send out young preachers from Immanuel Baptist Church to start and pastor churches in many cities across the United States as well as multiple families serving on the mission field in foreign countries.
In 2019, Pastor Neal saw the need for sound and well-rounded Biblical training of men and ladies in his own church and in other independent Baptist churches. He realized the growing demand for hands-on training in church ministries while becoming grounded in Bible doctrine through learning in the classroom. Independent Baptist churches across America are looking for dedicated, full-time Christian workers with soulwinners’ hearts and a strong, unshakeable knowledge of God’s Word.
With much prayer and the prodding of the Holy Spirit, plans were set in motion to start the North Florida Baptist College in the fall of 2020. Pastor Neal and the Immanuel Baptist Church staff and membership are working hard and expecting a great inaugural year.
