Undergraduate Degrees

North Florida Baptist College exists to train leaders to serve in the local church. To accomplish this purpose, bachelor degrees focusing on nine different majors and eight different minors are available. 

 

Bachelor of Science Degrees

Pastoral Theology: This course of study is designed for men desiring to prepare for the pastorate.

Assistant Pastoral: This course of study is designed for men desiring to prepare for full-time Christian service.

Missions: This course of study is designed to prepare men and ladies to be future missionaries. All students preparing for service in foreign missions must meet with the Missions Coordinator for personalized preparation.

Christian Ministries: This course of study is designed for men and ladies who are undecided about their futures.

Elementary Education: This course of study is designed to train qualified teachers for the elementary grades of the Christian school in the local church.

Secondary Education: This course of study is designed to train qualified teachers for the junior high and high school grades of the Christian school in the local church.

Music Education: This course of study is designed to train young people to work in the independent, fundamental Baptist church music program. In order to enter the Music Education degree, a student must pass a proficiency test. This test includes being able to play any song in the John W. Schaum Book C, all major scales in two octaves, and any hymn in the following keys: C, F, G, D, and Bb.

Office Administration: This course of study is designed to train ladies to work in the church or Christian school office.

Church Communications: This course of study is designed to prepare students in the areas of graphic design, web design, sound systems, audio/visual, photography, and social media platforms.

Two-Year Associate Degrees

Associate degrees focusing on four different fields of study are also available:

Students may receive an associate degree in four fields of study: Assistant Pastoral Studies, Christian Ministries, Office Administration, and Church Communications.

A minimum of sixty-four credits must be earned according to the course requirements.
